The Gbawe Basketball Foundation is a youth empowerment movement using basketball as a bridge to education, purpose, and opportunity. We believe every child deserves the right to dream — and the resources to own that dream.

Our Mission

To empower young people in Ghana and Africa through sports, education, and culture, helping them rise above limits and step into greatness — confidently and completely.

Our Approach: Own Your Dreams

• Hosting free training camps and school clinics
• Promoting cultural pride and leadership
• Building pathways from the street court to the global stage

Our Cultural Foundation

Inspired by the legacy of Gbawe, the sacred stool, and the spirit of the hunter, our programs honor our roots while building the future. We teach young people that they don't have to wait for permission — they can own their dream and execute it with pride.

Our Founders

The Foundation was created by brothers and visionaries Godwin Nii Okai Cofie and Thomas Nii Adu Cofie to build something that outlives them — a movement that transforms lives.
